IDA Matched Savings Programs
Ceiba partners with the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania to provide Individual Development Accounts (IDAs) – structured savings programs that provide matching funds for participants who meet a savings goal. Since 2007, Ceiba’s IDA program has provided education and funds to help 15 families become homeowners and 13 students pay for tuition and books.
Ceiba will be holding application sessions on Saturday, May 19 and Saturday, June 2.
Call (215) 634-7245 to register!
Ceiba can only consider applications from people who attend an application session.
First time homebuyers who save $2,000, complete 6 hours of financial literacy education, and participate in 5 hours of housing counseling are eligible to receive $4,000 in matching funds. Funds may be used for downpayment or closing costs.
