Since 1991, Ceiba has provided one-on-one counseling and group workshops in the areas of pre-purchase, home buying, foreclosure, property tax delinquency, and credit repair.

From 2007 through 2010, the Ceiba coalition provided over 5,790 units of housing counseling services and helped 275 low to moderate income families purchase homes. Ceiba’s coordinated approach to housing counseling generates economies of scale for its member agencies and provides clients with counseling that integrates financial literacy, free tax preparation services, access to the EITC, Individual Development Accounts, and public benefits.
