    Norris Square Civic Association has newly rehabbed homes for sale NOW! Visit two homes for sale in the 2200 block of N. Hancock and the 2200 block of N. Mascher streets on Saturday, February 9, 2013 from 10am to 4pm.

  • Attention homeowners! Read this short article from the Philadelphia Inquirer for more information on what to expect in February from the Office of Property Assessment. Letters will go out starting February 15, 2013 to let homeowners know the new assessed value of their homes. The 2014 property tax amounts based on these new assessments will follow in summer 2013.

    On Thursday, January 17, 2013, starting at 6PM, Ceiba presents a workshop at the Norris Square Civic Association (174 W. Diamond St., Philadelphia PA 19122) on two important matters of concern to immigrants: Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, and the Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN).

  • HIAS, a fellow member of the Philadephia Deferred Action Network, has entered a moving video about immigrant students impacted by DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) in the DoGooder contest. Watch the video and vote for it! Voting ends January 31, but don't wait until then to watch this.

  • Did you know...

    The implementation of the voter ID law has been postponed until after the Nov. 6, 2012 election.

  • On September 21, 2012 Ceiba joined forces with other Latino organizations in Philadelphia to provide free assistance to voters in need of photo identification. Under a new Pennsylvania law, all voters will be required to present photo ID in order to be able to vote.
