Will Gonzalez, Esq. is the Executive Director of Ceiba. He has more than 23 years of experience working on issues of concern to the Latino community. The Philadelphia Foundation's Williams Award for Organizational Excellence and the Community Change Award from the Bread & Roses Community Fund recognized his leadership of non-profit organizations in the 1990s. He has served as Ceiba's director for the last 11 years. Under his leadership, Ceiba adopted quality standards and best practices in the delivery of housing counseling services and became a leader in linking housing counseling with asset building efforts such as free income tax preparation and structured savings program. He is a certified VITA tax preparer, an IRS ITIN Certifying Acceptance Agent, and he is licensed to practice law in PA and NJ. He is a board member of the Hispanic Bar Association of PA, the Philadelphia Chapter of the ACLU, and the Philadelphia Bar Association's Task Force on Access to Justice for People with Limited English Proficiency. He serves on UWSEPA’s IDA Advisory Board and the Executive Committee of the Campaign For Working Families Advisory Board.
Lindsey Benitz is a Program Coordinator at Ceiba. She manages Ceiba’s IDA programs and is an advocate for language access and the rights of the limited English proficient. She collaborates in running Ceiba’s free tax preparation site and ITIN application services. Lindsey is a certified housing counselor and VITA tax preparer.
